Tour de Ríos is a receptive tourism operating agency whose
objectives are:
> Offer experiences of nature tourism, rural, in the rivers of the Chocó and the Colombian Pacific, as an engine for the development of their communities.
> Generate value in our natural, cultural and social assets, by promoting tourist packages that integrate communities in
order to improve the offer and thus obtain greater bilateral profitability.
Our purposes are:
> Promote rural tourism, following the 3 principles of sustainable development, which are: Economic performance, Social responsibility and
Environmental Balance..
> Generate interest in travelers who love rural tourism, nature, Afro-Colombian and indigenous culture.
We work directly with the people of the destination, it is they who are in charge of developing the activities: the lady who prepares the food on the wood stove, the fisherman who in his means of transport gives the visitor a tour of the river enjoying the charming landscapes and tributaries, the elderly who tell mythical stories with all that orality that characterizes us (allows us to learn from the bearers of tradition about our medicinal customs, among other formulas with the immense variety of plants that we have at our fingertips). We document all those activities, we fall in love with all that richness transmitted from the audiovisual.
The way we work is by characterizing tourist sites in Chocó, which have an easily accessible river basin and have a nearby community where accommodation, food, transportation services and all the typical, artisan and cultural products of the area can be offered. , since it is the community who directly provides the services.
